JYSigma Elevate Founder Serene Tong Spearheads “Financial Confidence” Workshop

Singapore — Serene Tong, Founder of JYSigma Elevate at JYSigma Business Consultancy, conducted a three-hour financial literacy workshop titled “Financial Confidence,” empowering women to take control of their personal finances with clarity, control, and courage.

With nearly three decades of experience in the banking industry, Serene Tong now heads JYSigma Elevate, the financial education division of JYSigma Business Consultancy. Her strong foundation in service excellence, operational strategy, and risk management has shaped her approach to empowering others.

Held on October 17, 2025, the morning session guided participants through key modules on goal-setting, investment fundamentals, estate and legacy planning, and scam awareness. Core learning areas included:

• Setting short-, medium-, and long-term financial goals
• Understanding risk versus return across instruments such as T-Bills, SGS Bonds, ETFs, and Unit Trusts
• Estate & Legacy Planning — CPF nominations, LPA, and AMD setup
• Scam Awareness — identifying and protecting against the latest tactics

The workshop blended hands-on activities, personal reflections, and real-life examples, encouraging participants to apply lessons to their own financial journeys.

The atmosphere was warm, engaging, and empowering, providing space for meaningful discussion and practical learning. Participants left with clear goals, actionable plans, and renewed confidence to manage their finances more effectively.
